Oddwhistle Games / Website information
Website privacy policy
What this website does
Oddwhistle Games is an independent studio operated by a solo developer. This website introduces the studio and Don’t Drag Me Down!, publishes development notes, and provides contact and community links. This draft concerns the website only; it does not describe data handling inside the game.
Website delivery
The site is built as static pages for hosting on Vercel. Requests to a hosting service may include an IP address, browser information, the requested address, and request timing. Vercel describes its own processing in its privacy statement. The operator must confirm the production hosting arrangement and the applicable access, logging, and retention practices before publication.
Messages you choose to send
Email links open your email application. If you send a message, the studio receives your email address, the content of your message, and any information or attachments you include. Correspondence is used to respond to the inquiry and handle related support, press, or business matters. The first four contact inboxes are configured as Gmail aliases; the owner must verify delivery, the account arrangement, access controls, and retention before launch.
Cookies and embedded services
The current website code contains no analytics, advertising, account system, newsletter form, third-party media embed, remote font request, or browser-storage feature. Images and other page assets are served with the website. See the cookie information for scope and limitations.
Discord, X, and other linked websites control their own services and privacy practices. Visiting this site does not load their embedded widgets. Following a link takes you to that service.
Retention, sharing, and requests
Before launch, the operator needs to document retention periods, relevant service providers, any required international transfer arrangements, and the legal grounds that apply to its processing. This draft does not establish those facts or promise a specific deletion period.
For a privacy question or request, contact hello@oddwhistle.games. The dedicated privacy inbox is not yet confirmed. Applicable privacy rights and any required disclosures depend on the operator’s circumstances and the visitor’s location; these need review before publication.
Review before publication
Confirm the operator’s legal identity and required contact details, hosting and email practices, retention and deletion procedures, intended audience, children’s privacy considerations, applicable rights and legal bases, and the effective date. Reassess this notice before adding analytics, signup services, uploads, accounts, or embedded media.
